The Nottingham neighborhood was established in the mid-20th century and is now surrounding by the bustling Energy Corridor, one of Houston’s most influential areas. The parents in the area were looking for a way to keep their kids active. Acting as an outside classroom, a series of circular shaped, raised planters contain mini-vegetable gardens that aim to teach the children about where their food comes from while prompting their participation in gardening.
