Located on a 5.6-acre site in the City of El Monte, the new MacLaren Community Park is designed to transform the former MacLaren Hall into a vibrant green space where residents of all ages can enjoy recreational, educational, cultural, and social activities. The park will feature a regulation-size soccer field, basketball court, tennis court, and fitness area. Additional amenities include walking paths, restrooms, picnic areas, an outdoor classroom/performance space, ecological and sustainability education elements, a shade structure, children’s play areas with a water feature, and enhanced security and field lighting.
